JCL Chapter Registration Information

Chapter dues are levied on a sliding scale depending on date of registration:

• Chapters registering before December 1st pay no chapter fees
• Chapters registering after December 1st but before April 1st pay $10
• Chapters registering between April 1st and July 1st pay $20
  

Upon receipt of annual dues each club is put on the mailing list to receive subsequent issues of the TORCH:U.S.

The individual membership fee is $2.00 for each student per year. This entitles him/her to be eligible to attend convention, and, if paid before the deadline of July 1 (granting good standing status), eligible to hold office and vote at convention. Also, all members in good standing are eligible for the NJCL Latin Honor Society if they meet all other requirements.

A JCL chapter must affiliate with its state/provincial organization. Contact the state/provincial chairs listed on this site for information regarding dues and other requirements for your state. (If there is no contact information available for your state/province, contact the NJCL Office for addresses and/or phone numbers).

If a student wishes to become an NJCL member but has no local chapter, he or she may become a member-at-large by registering with the National Junior Classical League and his or her state/provincial chapter.

Any SPONSOR who is not a member of the American Classical League must become a member. This membership includes a subscription to The Classical Outlook and the cost is $45.00 per year.
