
Ok, so maybe there weren't quite that many participants at the NJCL marathon, but they deserve just as much credit as these runners of the New York Marathon -- considering that the event started at a very early 7:30 in the morning.
In the Junior Boys category, Andrew Hirning, the lone student delegate from Utah, captured the laurel wreath. Finishing first for the Senior Boys was Wallace Forman of Missouri.
In the Girls division, Jessica Naylor of Virginia and Amelia Potvin of Maine captured first in the Junior and Senior divisions respectively.
