




Voting delegates sign in for the Constitutional Amendments Committee meeting. Up for discussion was the creation of a new student office -- Technology Coordinator. The amendment would eventually pass at this convention, with the first new such officer to be elected at the 2004 NJCL Convention.

Over 20 former NJCL Presidents were on hand for part or all of this 50th NJCL Convention. Here 1959-1960 President Ernest Polansky of New Mexico chats with current NJCL President Michelle Wu of Illinois.

Ludi Basketball action on Thursday afternoon ended with Connecticut coming out on top.

These couples costume participants portray Juno and Argus. In the other divisions of the costume contest, boys portrayed Bacchus and girls portrayed Aurora.

Competitive Certamen rounds II and III were held today.

The Impromptu Art contest, though relatively new to convention, has become a favorite among delegates. This year, participants were given pipe cleaners, a sprig of artificial ivy, a Roman medallion, a sticker of Texas and assorted other materials and charged with creating a work of art in the span of one hour. On the left is one such creation.

At General Assembly III, candidates for the 2004 NJCL offices took the stage to present their plans for NJCL if they should be elected.
