Year In Review

2002 saw a recent decline in JCL membership slow to a mere trickle.  Over 52,000 members strong, the organization remains one of the largest student academic organizations in the world. This year, JCLs reach extended to 48 states as Iowa, South Dakota, Vermont, and Alaska created new chapters.  This is in addition to three Canadian provinces which continue their long tradition of membership in the organization.

On the NJCL Convention front, delegates were drawn to the University of Kentucky from July 29 - August 4 for this annual highlight of all JCL experiences.  President George W. Bush even sent a letter of welcome to the attendees of this special event.
